Crapitals v. Lightning, Game 3

Posted: May 4, 2011 in Fandom, Hockey

I’d say I told you so, but that will hurt me as much as it will you. As always, the Caps are better skaters, stick handlers, and athletes, but they find a way to lose. They can’t score in the first period. Just when Neuvirth looks like one of the hottest goalies in hockey, he lets in two soft goals that wind up to be the difference in the game. There was an exchange behind the Caps goal during the third period that looked like C-league amateurism by the Crapitals. I could go on and on, but I won’t.

The bottom line is this: You can change ownership, management, coaching staff, and players, but in the end, they’re still the Crapitals. Nothing seems to change. This franchise wants to fail, and that’s the only thing they’re quite capable of delivering to us.
